And don’t go it alone.
Some great questions for your business: What needs to be a part of your business promotion? How can you use free tools to grow and promote your organization? Check out these Google Tools for Business Owners.
1. Google PPC Advertising
Google Pay Per Click is a great way to do online advertising. It allows you to control your budget, and you pay only when someone clicks your link. It’s an overall good way to drive traffic, reach your audience, and increase brand awareness. The thing about PPC, though, is it works faster in tandem with keywords and SEO. Keywords are significant. Google PPC is also measurable; you will know what is working/converting and what isn’t. You will also be able to learn more about your customers, how they search, age, gender, locations. and potentially more!
2. Google Marketing Platform
Any marketers priority is getting to know their customers. It’s all about the people. Small business owners and wearers of many hats should seek to know their customers as best as possible. Google Marketing Platform is a tool to help deliver relevant information to your client. Within the platform, you get data and insights about audience behaviors. If you’re a growing business and are driven by data, this platform will serve you well.
3. YouTube
You need to meet your clients, serving their wants and needs in an efficient and engaging way. Writing content is valuable and has good and clear objectives, but in this day and age, video serves people more quickly. If your website feels more like a narrative with long-form writing, it’s time to think about incorporating visual content. Using video, and establishing your branded YouTube channel will not only create trust, but get valuable information into your audience’s hands effectively.
We’re not asking you to slave over getting subscribers, but simply, re-thinking your content. Plus, YouTube comes with a free to use Analytics platform. Where can you incorporate video in your website that will add value? Communicating a message through video will also allow you to delete repetitive text; thus, provide more space on your website. Video and text will work together. We can help with this, and more.
4. Google Analytics
This free tool allows you to monitor your data. Monitoring data means you can make decisions based off the data, and be strategic about where you’re putting your focus. Google Analytics will reveal how much traffic your website attracts, where visitors come from and what people do after they get to your site. With light code involved, you can essentially track visitors. If you want to know where you can make improvements to your business, Google Analytics will help you get there. It’s a good way to improve online performance.
5. Google My Business
Another free tool. Google My Business allows you to list your business online in order for people to find you. It’s like the virtual yellow pages version. Your listing can appear in several places at once from Google Search to Google Maps; thus customers can find you by putting in what they’re looking for in the search engine. GMB is for you if you want others to more easily find you, and promote your business, of course. Call us so we can help you get set up with your own Google listing.
Listing your business and information like location, number, address and logo will provide critical information right into your clients hands. This is a must. If you want to learn more about Google My Business, check out our video!
